During exercise, the water stored in and around your cells and in your blood plasma is used to regulate your body’s temperature by driving heat away from your core to your skin and producing sweat.
Regulation of your core temperature during exercise is crucial since there is a significant drop in performance once your temperature reaches 103 degrees.
NBS Preload works by super-saturating your body with water, which helps maintain your core temperature during exercise. Going into an event with extra stored water will help you stay ahead of dehydration caused from the stress of exercise and heat.
Your body’s fluid level (water stored in and around our cells and in blood plasma) will serve as the initial reservoir. These water stores are used to regulate the body’s temperature by:
- Driving heat from your core to your skin (skin blood flow)
- Producing sweat, which evaporates on the skin and removes excess heat.
Extreme heat caused by the environment and/or exercise can cause a rapid rise of the body’s temperature. Once the core temperature reaches 103 degrees our power and performance begins to drop dramatically.

What you will not find in our products:
We work hard to bring you a line of products that provide over 99% active ingredients. While some of our raw goods contain minimal amounts of inactive ingredients to help guard against clumping, we never backfill our product with:
- Fillers: oils, food starch or cellulose.
- Flow or Thickening Agents: magnesium stearate, carrageenan or guar/xanthan gum.
- Anything Artificial: dyes, xylitol, sucralose or acesulfame potassium.
Mix 1 – 2 servings in 8 – 16oz. of water.
Begin using Preload 12 hours prior to the start of your event with 1 – 2 servings mixed in 8 – 16 oz. of water. Take an additional 1 – 4 servings mixed in 8 – 32 oz. of water in the 2 hours leading up to your event.
